Hi!  I’m Kelly Wilson.

Here are my vital statistics:

I was born on October 31, 1964. Yep, I turned forty, last year. I believe this positions me to be able to relate to both the younger women who are starting on the journey toward the lives they want to live as well as the maturing women who are well along the way.

My First Career
Right out of college I began working as a manager for Procter & Gamble.  I worked for P&G from 1989 to 2001, less the eighteen months years, that I took off to acquire a Masters Degree in Business from the University of Cincinnati.  Over that span I worked in both Sales and in Purchasing where I continued to grow my coaching skills.  I lead organizations.  I trained individuals and groups to set and accomplish goals.   I enjoyed mentoring employees who did not report directly to me.  I even learned how to coach my bosses on how to get the best out of me, so I could perform at a higher level.  Over the years I became adept at reapplying productive “systems” from one venue to another, from work to home, from academia to corporate America.  This skill helped me become one of the first women in Purchases to get promoted to group manager while working a 4-day (80%) workweek.  I did this to more effectively manage the demands of home and office.  After eights years of experience I can juggle pretty successfully now.  And this can be a great source of practical information for clients who are seeking to do the same.

My Family
I married my college sweet heart, Ken, in 1990.  He is super smart, handsome, funny, a great athlete, spiritually mature and my biggest supporter.

We have two sons on earth.  KJ and Kyler.  They both take after dad.  They are great blessings in my life – especially now that they have grown out of flushing unflush-able things down the commode.

Our beautiful daughter, Kennedy Anne Wilson, resides in heaven.  She was with us less than a month.  She died from a serious birth defect when she was 24 days old.  To me, she is one of the most beautiful warriors that ever lived.  Her life and death crystallized the foundation principles of Victorious Living.

My Character
I am a believer.  Christ became my savior when I was 11 years old, then it took me another 12 years to recognize him as Lord.  Thankfully he was patient, and for that I am eternally grateful.

And so…The Birth of Victorious Living

In August 2001, I left that world, to establish Victorious Living.  The mission?  …to enable women to have the lives that we dream of having.  I wanted to use proactive, systemic, practical, processes to help women gain all that we say we want:  peace, friendships, to be organized, to look good, to know God, laughter, to make a contribution in this world, etc.

We do this by providing our clients with the “tools” and support that will enable them to ENVISION, PURSUE and ENJOY the lives that they want to live.

What makes us/me different from the other coaches and trainers and speakers out there?

  1. I can relate to my clients.  We have a common experience.  I can coach from what I have lived and studied.
  2. Like many of our clients, I have faced difficult circumstances.  And though I have been down, by grace, I was not out.

  3. I will pray with and for you.

  4. I am candid and will tell you like I see it; the good, the bad, and the ugly.  If you want a yes woman I am not the right person for you.  If you want growth, results, and someone to encourage and partner with you – Victorious Living is a good fit. I will hold up a mirror, so you can keep in sight the vision that your heart longs to embrace.
Whew!  I think that’s it in a nutshell.  I appreciate your willingness to read this profile. If you have questions – please do give us a shout.
